The annual membership fee of $10.00 per person entitles each member to the yearbook, a premium plant, informative newsletters, privilege of exhibiting in shows, the right to go on Society sponsored bus trips, and access to the society's library.

General meetings are held the last Monday of each month at 7:30 pm, in the Senior Citizens' Room, 21 Ann Street North, Cannington, unless otherwise stated. The Christmas Party is held the second Monday in December. No general meetings are held in January, July, August and December (Christmas Party). Flower shows take place in the Seniors’ Room.

The society's program consists of speakers offering information on various horticultural subjects, annual plant auction, open gardens, flower, vegetable and photographic competitions, and the civic beautification of our village.

The Annual Meeting is held the last Monday in November at 6:30 pm in the Senior Citizens' Room, in conjunction with a potluck supper.

Visitors and new members welcome.  There is a nominal fee of $2.00 per meeting for non-members.
